Eye Contact.

The eyes are the ultimate answer to all your queries and doubts. These tiny little specks flicker and reflect the light of your soul and heart and the best part is, it never fails. To be honest they are the most delicate part the Almighty has gifted us and yet we are unaware of it's sturdiness.

Just look into a person's eyes and maintain an eye contact- not your lover or your friend, just a random person. Can you see the colour of the iris and can you see the black pupil drowning in it's vivid colours ? Can you even see the eyelashes blinking not allowing you to look for inside the person's soul for a millisecond ? You can even see the person's strength and weakness, his/her desire and reality at the same time. It's soft and plain look just sends shrivels down your spine, doesn't it ?

Now, stand in front of the mirror and give a deep glance to your own eyes. You can rightly say you are directly seeing your entire life's feelings in a second. You can say that the eyes you are looking at have allowed millions of tears to come out and relieved your pain. These eyes are not merely a source to see things but instead they are a source for you to realise what reality is and where your fantasy ends.
They provide a platform for you to remember all your hard times, all your memories and all the mistakes you have committed and how in all the situations you stood still, never having a thought to stop and leave.They remind you of your scars and at the same time return you back to the time when your lips refused to stop smiling. They tell all this to you just in a matter of seconds.

Eyes are like windows; they always give an air of your inner beauty and believes that this beauty is a treasure in itself. Cherish it and you will always know the inner you and be hard on it to get a glimpse of you past.

I sometimes think how these eyes can hold so much of our soreness and happiness in perfectly equal amounts. Eyes are your dreams and past entwined together, they are you.

 I think to realise is much much better than pretending unrealisation of things. To realise and absorb in that guilt, drown in the harsh feelings and remain melancholy for sometime is better, I swear way better than blinding your eyes with the fact, 'I was right.' A much worse case, is accepting, perceiving your mistake or situation and not even opening your lips when someone else is doing the exact same thing. It is your realisation of no use if you can't even correct someone. Sometimes, to comprehend the fact of correcting, we think, why should we really tell them it's wrong when we had the similar behavior earlier?
