Keeping It Simple.

Did you ever try to be simple ? Well the irony is, to be simple is more difficult than to be complicated. The only solitary difference is that while being a complex person we take in all the unnecessary problems and when we choose to be simple we are just the opposite.

You know, our past is like a dark room illuminated by the world's tiniest candle. We know that it's going to burn out but there's still hope for it to shine. At times we realize or rather come in terms with fact that our past always haunts us. No matter how far we run away, at the end it's going to creep up on our shoulders and make it's way to the brain. The point is, we don't want to accept the mistakes of our former times. The guilt stays on forever like a chewing gum. Even if we don't confess it to anyone we should at least confess it to ourselves, forgive and move on. The ocean of guilt will eventually recede.

And our future, it has a totally different perky story. The problem is we 'expect' way too much from it. We have to understand the fact that our future will bear fruits only if we plant a seed today. We have tangled ourselves into so many complications that we don't give a damn about the consequences. We spook ourselves to an unknown, black sea of future; worrying way too much, thinking way too much.

But here we are stuck in the middle of our past and future. apparently, we aren't stuck; this is also one of the complex tags we have pasted in our lives.

Simplifying things doesn't reduce them but it changes it's look from blurriness to clarity.  Just know that everything you do has its own simple concept and your ultimate aim is to master it and not curse it.

  1. Simplification... Of...?
    Our own complexity?
Just for seconds, if we assume that we are simplified with our own understanding, our own thoughts... Will it be enough for us to make it the way we want?
Obviously not. But... What will we achieve being complex with our own thoughts? A darkness below the lamp.
So, it depends upon us that whether we want to be in the darkness even being below the lamp or we want the illuminating ray of hope from our life to understand our dark existence. Choice is yours.
    Great job!

Our Crushing System

There is a truth about today's world that we all have ignored (and probably will keep ignoring)- our broken vacation system. We are living on a planet that is going crazy in terms of its cutthroat competition. Everyone wants to achieve more, earn more, upskill more and the 'more' is actually making us blind. For example, a person goes to school, does his homework, gives his papers, get good marks and attains contentment. But his parents and teachers tell him that he is also good in sports, he should focus on that in his vacations. He puts his head so much into achieving this new goal, that he forgets he had to rest. Every vacation, the same story happens, until he realised that he is burned out. This may seem so simple but every school, institution and company have gotten in this race of telling individuals that they need to be a multi-performer. Agreed, building distinct and fresh skills is always a plus point but not when it feels like a pressure, rather than a hobby. T...

Eye Contact.

The eyes are the ultimate answer to all your queries and doubts. These tiny little specks flicker and reflect the light of your soul and heart and the best part is, it never fails. To be honest they are the most delicate part the Almighty has gifted us and yet we are unaware of it's sturdiness. Just look into a person's eyes and maintain an eye contact- not your lover or your friend, just a random person. Can you see the colour of the iris and can you see the black pupil drowning in it's vivid colours ? Can you even see the eyelashes blinking not allowing you to look for inside the person's soul for a millisecond ? You can even see the person's strength and weakness, his/her desire and reality at the same time. It's soft and plain look just sends shrivels down your spine, doesn't it ? Now, stand in front of the mirror and give a deep glance to your own eyes. You can rightly say you are directly seeing your entire life's feelings in a second. You can...
I think to realise is much much better than pretending unrealisation of things. To realise and absorb in that guilt, drown in the harsh feelings and remain melancholy for sometime is better, I swear way better than blinding your eyes with the fact, 'I was right.' A much worse case, is accepting, perceiving your mistake or situation and not even opening your lips when someone else is doing the exact same thing. It is your realisation of no use if you can't even correct someone. Sometimes, to comprehend the fact of correcting, we think, why should we really tell them it's wrong when we had the similar behavior earlier? But, it hurts like thorns, pinches like citrus in eyes, when others repeat a mistake you had committed and you can do nothing but see. In your mind, your imagination and memory runs faster than you and you imagine yourself in that situation with a different person, different ambiance- just as it was. Such realisation reminisces in a more raucous way when y...
