To Know.

Knowing; isn't it a simple and authentic word ? But mind you, it involves too much of complexity.

Everyday we encounter a large number of people. The unknown city lights glimmer brightly yet strangely in our eyes. The sky of interaction covers our entire life or atleast most of it. But in this unpredicted and stunning world, who do we really know ?

The simple definition of knowing is to enter someone's life, cope up and comprehend a solution to his/her problems. Somehow, it doesn't merely includes this. Accordingly, to know is not to keep up with the ongoings of a person's life but to know is to have a clear idea of how a person feels, his expressions, his sweet yet weird behaviour, his reaction to a particular situation and maybe much more.
I know this is way too much but I think that's how it is !
So my next question is, before knowing others do we really know our inner self ?
Our inner self; our mirror, our truth, our secret holder yet it is a purely hidden thing.
This soul of ours is held strongly and firmly, it's roots reaching deep inside the core of our heart but maybe it is misunderstood by us. It's enormous potential has to be recognised and that spark has to burn, under any circumstances.

All in all, knowing is an illusion and the artistic ability to recognise it is only when we start from a person residing within us otherwise I'm sorry, this illusion is a place of utter chaos.

Our Crushing System

There is a truth about today's world that we all have ignored (and probably will keep ignoring)- our broken vacation system. We are living on a planet that is going crazy in terms of its cutthroat competition. Everyone wants to achieve more, earn more, upskill more and the 'more' is actually making us blind. For example, a person goes to school, does his homework, gives his papers, get good marks and attains contentment. But his parents and teachers tell him that he is also good in sports, he should focus on that in his vacations. He puts his head so much into achieving this new goal, that he forgets he had to rest. Every vacation, the same story happens, until he realised that he is burned out. This may seem so simple but every school, institution and company have gotten in this race of telling individuals that they need to be a multi-performer. Agreed, building distinct and fresh skills is always a plus point but not when it feels like a pressure, rather than a hobby. T...

Eye Contact.

The eyes are the ultimate answer to all your queries and doubts. These tiny little specks flicker and reflect the light of your soul and heart and the best part is, it never fails. To be honest they are the most delicate part the Almighty has gifted us and yet we are unaware of it's sturdiness. Just look into a person's eyes and maintain an eye contact- not your lover or your friend, just a random person. Can you see the colour of the iris and can you see the black pupil drowning in it's vivid colours ? Can you even see the eyelashes blinking not allowing you to look for inside the person's soul for a millisecond ? You can even see the person's strength and weakness, his/her desire and reality at the same time. It's soft and plain look just sends shrivels down your spine, doesn't it ? Now, stand in front of the mirror and give a deep glance to your own eyes. You can rightly say you are directly seeing your entire life's feelings in a second. You can...
I think to realise is much much better than pretending unrealisation of things. To realise and absorb in that guilt, drown in the harsh feelings and remain melancholy for sometime is better, I swear way better than blinding your eyes with the fact, 'I was right.' A much worse case, is accepting, perceiving your mistake or situation and not even opening your lips when someone else is doing the exact same thing. It is your realisation of no use if you can't even correct someone. Sometimes, to comprehend the fact of correcting, we think, why should we really tell them it's wrong when we had the similar behavior earlier? But, it hurts like thorns, pinches like citrus in eyes, when others repeat a mistake you had committed and you can do nothing but see. In your mind, your imagination and memory runs faster than you and you imagine yourself in that situation with a different person, different ambiance- just as it was. Such realisation reminisces in a more raucous way when y...
